Town Hall Meeting

AHC is experimenting with a new approach to our business meeting while at the ACA 2012 Conference.

In the past, we held a ticketed breakfast on Saturday morning at 7:30am. After much consideration of the expense of meal tickets and our emphasis of including as many members as possible with our activities, we decided to hold a Town Hall Meeting this year.

 

At the Town Hall Meeting, we will conduct our business meeting, present awards, and offer opportunities to be involved. All of our members and prospective members are invited to attend the Town Hall Meeting.

 

The Town Hall Meeting will be held on Saturday, March 24th from 11:00am to 12:30pm in Golden Gate 2.

 

Reception

The joint reception between AHC,AACE, AADA, ASERVIC, and IAAOC will be held on Friday, March 23rdfrom 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Vista Lounge on the 45th Floor.

We hope to see you all there for food, fun, and networking!

 

AHC Executive Board Meeting

The AHC executive board will meet on Wednesday, March 21 from 4:00pm to 6:30pm in Franciscan B and Thursday, March 22 from 9am to noon in Franciscan C.

 

Journal of Humanistic Counseling (JHC) Editorial Board Meeting

The JHC Editorial Board will meet on Thursday, March 22 from 2pm to 4pm in Franciscan C.

 

Schedule of events for the Wellness Center

 

The AHC Wellness Center is a day of learning focusing on wellness of the counseling practitioner, educator, student, and researcher. Join us at the Wellness Center on Saturday, March 25th from 7:30am to 6:00pm in the Conference Center in Room 2110.

10:30am to noon Increasing Personal Energy and Wellness with Michael C. Lazarchick 

 

2:00pm to 3:30pm Maori Drawing for Counseling Self-Care with Rhonda Neswald-Potter, Michelle Perepiczka, Stephanie Ford, and John Marszalek 

 

3:45pm to 4:45pm Yoga for Everyone with Bernadine Craft

 

5:00pm to 6:00pm The Art of Centering: An Experiential Path to Wellness with Andrea A.Berry
